It’s this time of year, when I reach out to you
To tell you how I feel, to tell you what’s true
Right on schedule, never forgetting my promise
For you are my friend, I will always come through<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A flow of emotions, many won’t comprehend
For my love for you will never end
My messages won’t be gone, or lost in space
Will not change, come what illusion to bend<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Still going strong, and thankful for my blessings
Sometimes you fear when the world is pressing
But faith brings you back to the path you are supposed to take
To tame your dark side, gracefully, with no stressing<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another year has passed, and more reflections to assess
I am still true to my promise, I am still doing best
Grateful for the ones God put, to help along the way
And for the patience you taught me, to guide me through the test<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am still the soldier, that you’d be proud to see
Observing the field, engaging where I meant to be
Sometimes you miss, sometimes you score
For when you chart your path, you plant, and nourish the tree<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tonight, I am here to renew my vow
To stay the course, to dream, to shine, and success to allow
When the world is full of noise, fear won’t push me back
Won’t let it prevail, I am still fighting, like then, like now<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another year has passed, and more successes to share
Still vigilant, not complacent, still holding on to my prayer
For God is close to help, giving glory to those who stay true
